Our Careteam

Katie Herron

Veterinary Assistant

As a young child, Katie came into the clinic with her mother to volunteer. As she grew up and became more and more interested in the field, she jumped on the opportunity to be hired and join the caring staff at Noah’s Stop 11 Animal Hospital!

Katie was born and raised in Indianapolis. She’s honored that her first job allows her to work closely with animals—she’s wanted to be a part of the Stop 11 staff since she was little! She particularly likes helping out in exam rooms and learning new and interesting things on a daily basis.

Katie has one sister. Her family has a black lab named Duke and three cats named Feisty, Finkle, and Samantha.

Katie enjoys singing and dancing and has sung in a choir since she was in 4th grade. She’s also participated in two years of show choir. In her free time, Katie likes to hang around the fire pit in the backyard with her family and enjoy a nice roasted marshmallow or two.

Brenda Dyer

Veterinary Assistant

Brenda was born in Mooresville and has lived in Greenwood and New Whiteland. She currently serves as a Veterinary Assistant and jack-of-all-trades at Noah’s Stop 11 Animal Hospital.

In March of 1987, Brenda contacted a local veterinarian’s office to see if they were hiring. She worked there for a year before taking time off for the birth of her second child. In 2000, she went back to work at a local clinic, then came to work at the Stop 11 location in 2002. She’s been here ever since!

Brenda likes working on non-routine surgeries. Working in the lab and examining samples under the microscope are her other favorite aspects of her job.

Brenda and her husband Mike have been married for 22 years. They have a 19-year-old daughter Kristen who just started college and a son Stephen who is a sophomore in high school. Brenda learned Taekwondo with her children, and they have all earned their first-degree black belts!

Dawn Herron

21 years ago, Dawn applied for a job at a neighboring animal clinic. The doctor there asked if she would be willing to help Dr. Webb start up a new clinic—Dawn accepted and has worked at Noah’s Stop 11 Animal Hospital ever since!

Dawn was born and raised in Indianapolis and has lived here all her life. She works from one end of the clinic to the other—from assisting in exam rooms and helping with surgeries, to running lab equipment, answering phones, and logging invoices, she truly does it all!

At home, Dawn lives with her husband of 29 years, Randy, and their two children, Kathryn and Kellie. The family has a dog named Duke and three cats, Feisty, Finkle, and Samantha.

When time permits, Dawn enjoys hand quilting, computer games, and spending time outdoors with her pets and children.

Brittany Searcy

Veterinary Technician

Growing up on the west side of Indianapolis, Brittany was the kid taking naps with the dogs outside—sometimes in the dog house! Her affinity with animals at a young age convinced her to become a veterinary professional.

Brittany applied to the Vet Tech Institute at International Business College and was quickly accepted. 18 months later she graduated with her Registered Veterinary Technician’s license. Now she loves coming to work every day at Noah’s Stop 11 Animal Hospital! She especially likes assisting with surgeries because of the challenge, and also is passionate about client education and helping pet owners understand their furry friends’ health.

Brittany’s personal interests include animal behavior, holistic medicine, traveling, crafting, and continuing her education. At home, she has five dogs: Snoopy, Tate, Lily, Chubbers, and Tyson, as well as two cats named Tootie and Lucy who enjoy basking in the sun.
